GreenFields carried out the refurbishment of the existing 2000m² sand dressed artificial rugby training pitch at Fleetwood Rugby Union Football Club in Lancashire. The contract was scheduled to be completed over a period of 4 weeks but to the delight of the client was completed in only 3 weeks and included stripping of the existing surface, shock pad and fencing and remedial works to bring the sub base to World Rugby (IRB) Regulation 22 compliant standards.

The club chose GreenFields Evolution XQ 60 Elite, FIFA/World Rugby accredited surface with integral 15mm Insitu shockpad as their preferred option and to complete the project a twin bar, super rebound panel, sports fencing system was installed together with sports equipment in the form of 7 v 7 weighted mini goals and boot wipers.
