GreenFields is an approved supplier for the FIH (International Hockey Federation). Our hockey turf fields have been designed to comply with FIH global and national classification standards. A hockey field approved by the FIH offers a professional grade playing surface that is suitable for all competitive matches including major tournaments such as The Olympic Games, Hockey World Cup and Hockey Junior World Cup.

As part of this partnership, GreenFields works globally with the FIH to provide high quality hockey fields for all levels of play.

Any 5 or 11-a-side hockey field with a surface manufactured by an approved FIH supplier can apply for certification.
The FIH has four different categories of certified hockey pitches.

Global Elite

Non-filled water based hockey turf meeting requirements for top international competitions.

Global

Non-filled water based hockey pitches used for lower level international competitions and top level national competitions.

National

Sand dressed/ filled surfaces for national, regional and community play.

Multi-Sport

Surfaces designed for a number of sports including community and development level hockey.
